Population Portrait IX  (Contents)

There are 144 select premium marbles in each jar.  All the marbles embody a particular idea; most are part of a distinct series. A brief description of each series contained within the jar follows on the next few pages.  Each marble is inscribed with the signature or logo derivative, with the population number and edition number; example to the right.

The Hugo Largo:

A three-level design consisting of a core in shades of brown symbolizing the mother earth.  The next level is a rainbow of fifteen colors, which pays homage to the visible spectrum through which we receive visual information.  And finally three sets of black and white stripes make up the third level, which stands for reason and rationality.
